services and supports to improve the quality of life of those
experiencing social, cultural, and economic exclusion within our
communities.

The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) is a
Department of Rural & Community Development (DRCD) funded programme
managed by Pobal and administered by each Local Authority Local
Community Development Committee (LCDC). SICAP Goal 2 supports are
offered to eligible individuals to improve their access to personal
development, education, employment, and self-employment opportunities.

POSITION 1. PART TIME EMPLOYMENT SERVICES CO-ORDINATOR (COUNTY BASED)

Waterford Area Partnership is seeking to recruit a highly motivated
and organised Employment Services Co-ordinator who will be based in
Dungarvan and deliver SICAP services to eligible individuals living
outside of the Metropolitan Area. The County based Employment Services
Co-ordinator will work in collaboration with the City Based Employment
Services Co-ordinator and the rest of the Goal 2 team to deliver
outcomes to relevant target groups that improve their job readiness.
The County Based Employment Services Co-ordinator will report to the
G2 Team Lead.

This is a part time, * hour a week, position
which requires flexibility and may involve working in the evenings/at
weekends.

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that the Co-ordinator
has a full and valid driving license and their own car with Irish
Insurance. Travel/subsistence costs will be paid in accordance with
WAP Travel & Subsistence Policy and on the production of
indemnification certification.

LOCATION

The Development Worker will be based in the SICAP office in Dungarvan
but will be expected to travel around the county to meet tutors,
students, and community groups/local services with a view to building
and maintaining an effective programme of interventions that will
support the job readiness of eligible SICAP recipients.

The WAP/SICAP Employment Services Co-ordinator (County) will work with
the City Co-ordinator to provide a range of supports to assist those
most distant from the labour market to become job ready, and those in
precarious employment to improve their employment opportunities.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

* Experience in the delivery of supported training and employability
interventions to people experiencing social, economic and/or
educational exclusion
* Experience of action planning and working to achieve a KPI
* Experience in the use of CRM and paper filing systems
* Experience of working as part of a team
* Experience of writing reports
* Train the Trainer qualification would be desirable

POSITION 2. PART TIME CLERICAL OFFICER (CITY BASED)

ROLE OVERVIEW:

To support the Goal 2 team to complete, maintain and update relevant
SICAP Individual Beneficiary (IB) and group paper & digital files. The
Clerical Officer will report to the Goal 2 Team Lead.

MAIN DUTIES:

* To work with G2 team members to maintain, monitor and update
individual & course files as well as individual records on the IRIS
CRM system to track client registration, interventions, exit and
follow up, across SICAP Goal 2 clients
* To carry out follow up support, by phone/e-mail with SICAP
recipients and to record updates on Iris system.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Up to 2 years’ experience in office administration including:
building and maintaining files, form completion, making follow up
phone calls to record information, working within a team.
* Up to 1 years’ experience with a Customer Relationship
Management System.
* Up to 1 years’ experience of working with people from groups
experiencing social, economic and/or educational exclusion.

The SICAP Clerical Officer will work from the SICAP G2 Office in the
Edmund Rice Heritage Centre unless otherwise requested by the G2 Team
Lead.
